Young teens understand that their skin needs to restore over night and the most efficacious and desired products are made with ingredients that are natural and especially derived from the ocean. CLEAN&CLEAR® NIGHT RELAXING is a new platform with 4 unique products designed and developed from that insight. 

The Visual Identity

All in the family

Staying true to the visual language of C&C®, we created fresh and fun design elements to differentiate this look as the “yang” of the MORNING BURST® daytime use platform while cueing heavily to the ingredients and primary benefits of repairing and restoring overnight.

The first step in the process was to create an internal audit of  the US portfolio of platform and subplatform colors, icon identifiers and architecture of language. From there we could successfully explore a new color palette deeply grounded in the benefit story.

Designing the Package

Tranquil & textural

The sea can be powerful in it’s serenity. The design was heavily influenced by the feeling of tranquility brought by soft waves, a calming yet deep color palette and the textures of light reflecting of water, plants and sand. Dimension was successfully created by printing overlapping transparent layers of blue tones.
